5.55 - After the meeting at the airport of Barnaul, we go to the restaurant of the hotel "Barnaul", where you have a breakfast (smorgasbord).
Next we go to the famous resort of Altai - Chemal. Chemal is located in the mountains, at the confluence of two rivers - the Katun (the largest in the Altai) and Chemal. This is one of the most visited mountain resort of Altai. Chemal is the leader in the number of sunny days in Altai. The average annual temperature here is also higher than in other areas - about 4 degrees above zero. The sun, mountain air, saturated with aerions, coniferous forest also contributed to the transformation of this place into a resort (in Soviet times a large tuberculosis sanatorium developed here)
Excursion to village Chemal is the Patmos island and the Chemal hydroelectric station.

Excursion to the Valley of the Spirits Che-Chkysh outside the Chemal village. According to the legend, shamans come here for to transfer secret knowledge to their followers. We walk to the spring with silver water, to the rock with petroglyphs and to the observation deck with view of the Katun River.
At this time, some of our colleagues do personal fitness at the hotel or by bike (on foot) go to the city of masters Askat. This is the so-called "village of craftsmen." The most creative and talented people of Altai live in Askat. There are many painters, blacksmiths, potters, masters of the skin. We visit several galleries of creation, in one of which painter Daria Golovan works. She creates the finest silk paintings. We will meet Dasha and ask her to hold a master class in painting. (Note - this excursion can be replaced by a master class with another painter).
Return to the hotel, lunch.
After lunch, the groups change places. Those who did fitness and went to Askat have an excursion to the Valley of Spirits. Others do fitness and painting.

In the morning, the first subgroup trains according to individual plan with coaches, take a SPA.
The second subgroup visits the A. Anokhin National Museum in Gorno-Altaisk. There are the unique collections, which are found in Altai in archaeological monuments of from the Stone Age to the Turkic time. The rarest and valuable exhibit is the mummy of Ukok Princess, a noble woman of the Scythian time. She lived in Altai at about 4th century BC. Mummy was found in the ice mound at an altitude of 2200 m, on the border of Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Thanks to the permafrost, not only the embalmed body was preserved, but also clothing made of wool and silk, wooden ornaments, felt and other organic. In life, most likely, the lady was a shaman.
Return to the hotel. Lunch.
After lunch, those who had a training, have an excursion to the museum. The second subgroup do personal training.
Dinner in the national dwelling - ail. During the dinner invite the master of the Altai throat singing - kaychi. This type of art of the Central Asia nomads is included in the UNESCO intangible world heritage list. An experienced kaychi can perform an epic for several days without stopping, gradually deep into a trance.

Excursion to the forge

Early departure to the foothills of the Altai to the lodge "Zoloto Altaya". On arrival, accommodation and lunch. Time for a little rest.

A bike-ride to the Belokurikha-2 pass

Due to the fact that the Bulokurikha is located at the junction of the Altai plain and the Altai mountain system, here mineral radon sources go out to the surface. The climate of the resort is also important - clean mountain air, are saturated with pine aromas, small mountain streams. The cable car takes us to the top of the Cerkovka mountain.
Return to the hotel. Dinner.
In the afternoon we take a bike ride around the neighborhood. The hardiest can climb on the Belokurikha-2 pass - one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Altai. This is a new tourist investment project. The Garik Sukachev's film was filmed on the pass.

Farewell to Altai

Early breakfast and transfer to the Barnaul airport.
